4th Meeting - Italy

The meeting in Rome started on the Afternoon of Friday 11th of October 2013, with a welcome dinner-buffet offered by Unieda. It was the occasion to visit the Unieda office.

On the 12th of  October the activity started with ice breaking and introduction by the Italian team...
After that Manuela one of the italian coordinator, presented the result of the quetionnaires and the autobiographical list:

My autobiographycal list
My autobiographical list according the different stages of life:
Childhood, Teenage, Adulthood, Old age (see the exsercise here)

The result was quite interesting... some memories seems to be commune despite the differe cultures....
Another questionnaire was related to the "autobiographical  personal practices".

After the coffee break  the workshops on autobiography started, coordinated by Andrea, Maneula and Claudia.

Particularly the work aimed to explore the implicit meanings, values, visions in the memories the participants wrote home. Here the questions we used to explore these memoreis....

Implicit meanings and contents of the memories:
       Learnings, things we’ve learned...

Experiences that made us know the wonder of existence and the wonder of the world ...

Values, the awareness of what is important, what we value in life ...
The World, discovering "how the world works" ...
My self, discovering "as is am" ...

Questions (implicit) that the experiences have left to me, and I’m still trying to answer ...

..... (other categories about the intentionality and content...)

The participants selected fragments of the memories they wrote, connecting each experience or memory with teh categories listed above...

The point was to higligth non olny the act of remembering, but also "why" we remember... what the implicit intentionality that is behind the act to remember something about our life...

... to be continued...
